After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in his mid-50s, longtime technology marketing executive Steve Yellen applied the same analytical rigor that shaped his 25-year career to confronting the illness. He immersed himself in research, built a science-informed plan, and made exercise central to his strategy—training daily to compete in triathlons and Spartan Races. Yellen later founded livingparkinsons.com and became active in advocacy and research. His first book, Living Parkinson’s, offers practical, research-based strategies to help others take control and live fully with the disease. Steve’s talk will be followed by a Q&A; care partners are welcome to attend.
