PD Movement Lab was created by Pamela Quinn, a former professional dancer who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1996. After a decade of developing strategies to navigate her own movement challenges, she combined those approaches with her dance background to create the Lab. The class has run weekly since 2006 and has been featured on CBS Evening News, at universities and medical centers across the country, and at five of seven World Parkinson Congresses.
